Exhibition Hall - Longwood Gardens 1001 Longwood Road, Kennett Square, PAA graceful program inspired by the beautiful surroundings of Longwood Gardens. Faure’s elegant incidental music was originally written for the theater. Luigi's cello concerto is from the classical period. Caroline Shaw is a contemporary female American composer. Her Entr’acte was inspired by a string quartet of Haydn. Respighi took his inspiration from three Botticelli pictures and thus his musical language has a renaissance feel.

It is a fiery program with dance music from Ginastera, Piazzolla and de Falla. Gabriela Ortiz, a contemporary Mexican/American composer, wrote music that celebrates the spirit animal that guides the Wixarika people of Mexico. The classical guitar, performed by Ana Vidovic, adds to the colorful sounds of this festive concert.
