Join us for a Mother’s Day celebration with intimate chamber music by members of Kennett Symphony in the beautiful Copeland Lecture Hall at Winterthur. In celebration of Mother’s Day and the Transformations exhibition, this special concert explores how the old can influence the new, infusing classical music with modern jazz elements and riffing on classical forms.
Attendees may add on tickets to Winterthur’s Museum, Garden, Library and Exhibitions – including 90,000 objects in the 175-room mansion Henry Francis du Pont called home, 1,000 acres of rolling hills, streams, meadows, and forests, as well as a research center dedicated to America’s artistic, cultural, social, and intellectual history from colonial times into the twentieth century.
Tickets are $25 for non-members, $20 for members, and $15 for students – sold on Winterthur’s website. Contact Winterthur with any questions.
