About Kennett Symphony

Kennett Symphony was established in 1940 and provides the musical landscape of a historic region renowned for the arts. It is the only professional symphony orchestra in Chester County with Musicians from Pennsylvania, Delaware, New York, Maryland, and New Jersey. We engage more than 5,000 members of our community every season in an inclusive way.

We Perform

We have been producing quality symphonic music for over 80 years as Chester County’s only fully professional symphony. Performances feature our musicians enhanced by world class soloists as well as young rising stars. Our concert series offers innovative, first-class programming in an approachable environment creating excitement that is electric.

We Engage

We uniquely educate audiences by letting them interact with and be inspired by our music. Our concerts take place at extraordinary venues appealing to various interests in locations across the Brandywine Valley region. Pre and post concert talks with our Music Director and musicians allow attendees to better understand the music.
