Michael Hall, Conductor and Music Director
Mimi Stillman, Flute

Following our sold-out performance last season, we return to the Exhibition Hall in beautiful Longwood Gardens for a concert of Honegger, Mozart, Monti, and Mendelssohn. Pastorale d’ete is an atmospheric musical impression of a peaceful early morning in summer. Welcoming a dear friend of the Kennett Symphony, Mimi Stillman will perform Mozart’s elegant flute concerto and Monti’s virtuosic Czardas. Mimi won our young artist competition, and now enjoys an international career, being hailed by the New York Times as, “a consummate and charismatic performer.” The concert concludes with Mendelssohn’s clear and sunny representation of Italy.

Mozart – Flute Concerto No. 2
